Driver Microsoft Lifecam Vx 3000

Install lifecam vx 3000 windows 10 driver

PC Pitstop - PC Performance RootsPC Pitstop began in 1999 with an emphasis on computer diagnostics and maintenance. During the early days of the dot com boom, our online PC maintenance tools were skyrocketing. Using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer along with ActiveX technology, we could provide free diagnostic and maintenance tools that didn’t need to be installed. As times changed and PC Pitstop grew, we transitioned to a software subscription model to not only provide better and more secure diagnostic and maintenance tests, but turn our focus towards computer security with PC Matic.

Is the statement 'LifeCam VX-3000 is not compatible with Windows 10' really correct? My old Lifecam 1.4 VX-3000 worked happily on my old 32-bit PC on Windows Pro with Vista, 8, 8.1 and finally 10:1607 OS. I recently had to buy a new PC with64-bit Windows 10:1607 Pro, and when I tried to install the LifeCam again just got a message to the effect that my PC doesn't support this app. Is the change from 32-bit to 64-bitblocking the installation? The suggestion above shows how to run this LifeCam software in compatibility mode, but not sure which other version to choose: Vista, 8, 8.1? If I try to do this on a PC which has never had anything but W10:1607 installed, is it going to screw thingsup?

Postscript to the above:Tried the link, tried the installation CD with every OS listed, but with no success. Then in desperation tried the tip in NickZott's post of 04/10/16 above to try. No software listed for LifeCam 1.4 but downloaded it for W7 32/64-bit for 3.2 - and it works for my 1.4, at least for video! Haven't tried it for audio yet.OK, the cam was a gift some years ago, but it worked until very recently on Windows 10 32-bit; feeling angry that Microsoft hasn't produced a software update to keep their equipment running on 64-bit (am not alone in this!). My next webcam won't be a Microsoft.

The insolent suggestion in Support that if you can't get the webcam to work just buy a new one is just giving your customers the finger.PPS: the software I got from that link works for My LifeCam 1.4 for photos, video, audio and video/audio combined. Thanks, Nick. Hi Bob,Welcome to the Microsoft Community.I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused. LifeCam VX-3000 is not compatible with Windows 10. Try to install the drivers in the compatibility mode and check if it helps.Reply us back with the status of this issue.

We will be glad to assist you.ArulD: I'm getting ready to file a class action suit if you guys refuse to support your own products in Windows. We bought the Microsoft Life Cam for use with our Microsoft Windows run machines. The very name of the product: 'LIFECAM.' Has a strong insinuationattached to it. My LifeCam VX-3000 was working great up to last week (8/3/2017.) Now, it doesn't work at all.

No amount of research on the net or through YouTube has offered up any effective fix to the issue. Even if I tried to update to a newer LifeCamHD-3000 there is no indication that it will work with Windows 10. My research shows just the opposite. In short, I do not believe that the Microsoft Windows team even takes into account any of its other partnered Microsoft operations teams.

You guys areout of control. I'm just about ready to look to Apple for my future purchases.
